Thanks jlet pertaining to #1 since my brother has the remote won't he initially have to do on his end (1) install software (2) setup account (3) connect the remote so it links it to his account before I can login on my end to begin programming?

I ask the above because after registering an account it asks you to check the connection so I'm assuming it wants you to connect your remote.
