I've written a terminal program that is very useful for our type of work. It's main advantage is that it will allow you to send strings with inline hex. You can also easily view incoming data with hex. I saw a denon post earlier, it's great for working with that type of hardware.

It works with serial, tcp and udp. Give it a try and let me know what you think. I'm open to suggestions/improvements.

It is tiny and has no external dependencies.

There is no charge. It's not trialware or crippleware or shareware.
