The Hex codes I found for Denon Blu-ray players worked but it is incomplete. I get everything about how the hex codes work accept how the last two hex values in each command are obtained. For example

Pause is:
02 42 00 00 00 00 00 03 34 35

02 is STX (start of text), 42 is the hex value for pause, 00 00 00 00 00 are reserved, 03 is ETX(end of text). I get this from the Denon serial protocol sheet, but what I don't get are where do the hex values 34 and 35 come from. Anyone, anyone?

Thanks in advance,

Gordy
