Good morning.

I have a problem with my home setup. I have windows 2003 Server runing with Osprey 450e capture card. I'm using Windows Media encoder 9 right now. I'm not ready for expression encoder yet.

If I use the server directly I can see the 4 channels that I'm encoding and the audio is fine. If I connect via web browser everything works fine.
The problem is if I use RDP from a remote location in the house to tweak or change anything on one of my channels I can't see the audio ports. I see all 4 video ports just fine.

E:\iptv>cscript wmcmd.vbs -devices

1 : Osprey-450e Video Device 1A
2 : Osprey-450e Video Device 1B
3 : Osprey-450e Video Device 1C
4 : Osprey-450e Video Device 1D

I have seen the same thing on another system in the past but I dont know what the fix was.

This is only when I use RDP to make a change on the system.

Any thoughts ?

Mike
