Please tell us which model number you have. This thread was originally about Sony HTIB systems. The 08910 EFC applies to those. On the other hand, Sony receivers will respond to 08908 or 08904 for night mode.
HDMI inputs for receivers are signaled using device.subdevice of 16.40. The Comcast red button remote cannot send those signals.
I'm not aware of HTIB system codes for HDMI inputs.
