The friggin remote works no matter what "trutech" code you type in. I searched countless boards, finally just flipped the "3" - "4" - button on the back of the the Comcast box and got channel control. I never had volume or on-off control, because the unit is a pieced together garble of wires from India or somewhere, so don't think you can actually get that.

Just to confirm, I typed in a random "code" number and the thing still flipped channels. Unbelievable............
