I really hope he doesn't have an HD box feeding an HD television using the coax input. ;-)

No. I have a Denon 4308 that everything runs through, so the coax is open.

I wonder how many people are doing that for real? I would guess plenty (funny, but not, all at the same time :-) :-(

I guess I could listen to FOX through the TV speakers. Ouch!

I really don't know how to set up AVR using an antenna.
Are their any other reasons to use both an antenna and a cable box?

Switching from Receiver to TV will work, I think. Its going back where the complications begin. I can't (don't want to) add a receiver input command to all my favorite channels. Back to Cable button somewhere I guess. I'm sure there are other changes that would have to be made as well

The more I think about it, the more complicated it becomes. Lot's of opportunity to foul up the whole system.
It was just an idea for a temporary fix. I'm going to Try, repeat, Try, to look at it as a fun project rather than a necessity.

How about this antenna.

I'm not sure where the broadcast tower is 30 miles at the most?

If the dispute get's settled there is no sense continuing (for me), but the info may come in handy.

Instead of asking me why my price is high ask the other guys why they are low.
