Hi, I wanted to ask a question but I suspect you may no longer be checking this site. Was the new DTV receiver you acquired the DVR receiver or the HD-DVR receiver. The straight DVR receiver is the RC-500. I got that receiver yesterday as a replacement for an older silver one and I also cannot get my RF remote to work. I have the older RC64RB and that also might be the problem as I did all of the steps you referenced. Thanks,
