Normally, when a OFA remote doesn't have a setup code, it can be added in two ways. 1) Some remotes have an internal modem, and an upgrade WAV file can be played on a PC speaker, and received by the remote. I don't know if the 7557 has an internal modem.
2) The user can buy a JP1 cable ($30) and upload an upgrade from a PC. There is extensive support for these upgrades at [Link: hifi-remote.com].

If the 7557 does have a modem, then [Link: oneforall.com] provide you with the upgrade.  Ask them to email the file, rather than playing it over the phone, so that you can add the upgrade again if you ever reset the remote.

If there is no internal modem, then a cable would be necessary.  In this case, it would also take some help from the experts at hifi-remote.com to make a Remote Definition File, but that should be fairly quick.

Another possibility is to buy a remote which has 0059 built in.  Use the Lookup Tool to see a list of possible remotes, searching on Video 0059.  The search results show 29 candidate remotes.  You'd probably have to find these on ebay, etc.

Lastly, you could try to get a remote which can be programmed with Pronto Hex data.  We can supply the Pronto Hex codes.
