I don't know whcih setup codes are built in the 7557. The service remote uses the Pioneer IR protocol, with device 168, and that is not a typical Pioneer device number.

So if your remote accepts setup code Video (DVD, DVR, VCR, etc.) 0059, then it is possible to manually program the buttons to have the GF1381 functionality.

a) assign Video 0059 to a device mode button (e.g. DVD)
b) Tap DVD (or whatever button setup code 0059 was assigned to)

1) Press Setup (or what ever button is used for assigning setup codes) until 2 blinks
2) Enter 994 (If the 7557 has a LCD screen, a different procedure may be necessary)
3) Tap Setup
4) Enter the 5 digit EFC from the table below
5) Tap the button to assign the function to.
The remote should blink twice.

[To remove these assignments, don't do step 4 and instead do step 5 twice.]
