Hi,
I have looked in the forum to find answers to my basic questions, but couldn't find them. So it would be very nice if someone could enlighten me...
What I want to do : have music stored on my computer, send this music to the amplifier that is in another room (via a digital input), and control everything (selection of music for example) through the TSU-9400.
The computer's OS is windows 7 Pro 32 bits, and as far as I understood, Windows Media Center is bundled in Windows 7.
I need a device that would be located close to the amplifier, would communicate with the PC with the LAN (Wifi or wired) to get the music stream. I guess this device would, in addition to the audio output, have a video aoutput and a remote. Could you please indicate some brands and models for this kind of equipment?
Concerning now the TSU-9400, I will have to write ProntoScript to design the interface and the communication, which is not a problem for me as I am a web developer and very familiar with Javascript. But my question is: with what does the Pronto communicate? With the PC, or with the device linked to the amplifier? I guess it is with the PC, so is there some documentation about the protocol that is used?
Once again, thank you to anyone who could help!
Patrick
