I am about to buy my first antenna now that i am moving to a house in Niagara. I am situated between Buffalo and Toronto so that is good!

I have read a bit about antennas, read reviews ... multidirectional, 4 bay/ 8 bay, rotators etc, multiple antenna use. And am still confused.
there are no towers nearby, except the Government's National Defence Field 1/2 mile away to the west with what looks like Hydro Poles

I have a small attic or can also attach it to the house (roof or wall?)

What is the ideal one? budget is about $100- 125
Multidirectional as in Antennas Direct (reaches 70 miles)
OR
one that will need a rotator

Which direction do I have it mounted to face.

What other things do I need to buy with it to view it on the main floor as well as in my basement studio? Cables? etc

As a female I would need step by step
