I'll assume that your player or remote is a HDP-R1 (or R3). Hifi-remote.com has an upgrade file for this player, but unfortunately it is the NEC1 IR protocol, device 108.104.

I do not believe that there is any OneForAll setup code which shoots this device number, so it apparently isn't possible to manually program the remote for the HDP-R1. The 7960 is a new remote, and we don't have exact iformation about it, so I suppose that it is possible that it does have an appropriate setup code.

You can buy or make a JP1 cable, and then upload the upgrade to your remote (assuming it has a 6 pin header in the battery compartment). A USB interface cable costs $30 US.
