It has been a LONG time since I programmed this unit and I am not up to date at all with what is happening in the pronto remote world. However it recently took a "water hit" from someone in the family, and its days may be numbered.

When I wanted to tweak it I would have to dig out my old laptop running windows 98 and a serial port to use the old software. I have the CCF saved there also and backed up.

However there is a LOT of programming in that unit!! So the question is, is there a current remote I could purchase that would allow me to use or convert my CCF (understanding that cosmetically there may be some differences)? I don't really care much if it is color. Of course the CCF is B&W.

And I would assume if this is a more current device, it runs on Vista/Windows 7 and USB....I never could get my USB converter to work with the old software.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated. I would hate to lose all those hours of programming.
