 Hi there,

I wonder if anyone found a solution to this problem?

I have a Macbook Pro with Snow Leopard (Mac OS X 10.6.4), connected to a Pronto RU970 via a "ABC Products USB to RS232 cable".

I too get the "unable to find serial communication libraries" when I start Tonto 1.48.

I have tested the Pronto (a recent Ebay purchase) using Tonto on a friends Windows laptop, which has built-in RS232 - it connects and works fine.  But we only have Mac here!

Also (strangely), I could not get it to work with ProntoEdit + Windows - which was how I came to try Tonto.

I cannot try the "going back to an older mac" work-around (suggested by TerryM4 above) as we only have this newer generation here.
