Interesting. With the new firmware I don't get any wifi problems, wether i configure it as static or DHCP.

Maybe the gear people that still have problems can be correlated in some ways. Let's say like same wifi IC manufacturer etc. Can any of you that have such problems do some tests with a network analysis tool (like wireshark), and actually see there the communication breaks? Would be helpful.
