Daniel, it does not use HTTP as your relay card does. No similiarities at all. I know because I worked on the cleanup earliest version of said script.
I think that must refer to an older version of this product.
Looking at the spec now:
I / O card with integrated Ethernet interface for professional control applications in automation and building technology, as well as for integration into machine control systems, control cabinets and office equipment.
It is controlled directly through the embedded web server. The software integration over a TCP connection is supported.
