I have a retro job to do and want to replace an existing Elan keypad with a TPS 6L. I have 2 cat5 at the control point but also need to send composite video to the TP for cameras. Was thinking of using 1 cat5 for power and the other cat5 for Ethernet. Given that all conductors aren't needed on the Ethernet line, I'm thinking I can steal the unused conductors for video. Would there be any foreseeable issues that I may run into by firing video over the control cable?
