(Sorry to post this in both URC forums but I didn't know which was appropriate...I don't have CCP but have an MX-980 which I think is considered a "pro" remote)

I have read every thread available on the internet pertaining to W7 64-bit and the MX-980 and not one has helped. Going to device manager and installing drivers directly from the Vista 64-bit directory did nothing (it will say the drivers are installed "URC USB Synce MX1" but it changes nothing). When I connect the MX-980, it makes the "bad USB connection sound", and then a few seconds later the "USB disconnection" sound. I have installed Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 64-bit, and have fully updated MX-980 editor (I do not have CCP).

XP Mode is no help since the device will not connect at all to USB so XP Mode can't see it either.

Basically I have an unprogrammable paperweight now. Has anyone had any luck with this? I am extremely frustrated.
