I think a lot of people would do that. And it happens all the time with "side" sales. If that person is a URC dealer. From my understanding, the warranty doesn't start until it is sold to a customer. As I said, it's only been out of the box to show to clients and never sold to a customer. That's beside the point though. I don't care what the end user does with the remote. It's a top of the line URC remote at a price remnant of the old "PUP" pricing you got when you'd go to training. I was kind of shocked it wasn't sold immediately.
