I have the same issue with my laptop which is running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. In my case I had a 4-port powered USB hub connected to the laptop. Connected to the USB hub was a keyboard, mouse, portable hard drive, and a broadband dongle. I was connecting the TSU9600 to one of the other available USB ports on the laptop and finding that I could not download to the remote from PEP v1. The remote was being detected as a disk drive, not a HID device. While I haven't taken the time to investigate the issue in depth I can tell you that as long as the remote is the only device connected to my laptop via USB it is detected properly. I'm then able to successfully download to the remote via PEP v1.

In my case the TSU9600 is connected directly to the USB without any hub in the middle.
I have tried to disconnect all the other devices and leave only the TSU9600, but the problem is the same.

Is there any way to install manually the driver? Or to update the driver?
Where is the driver itself located?

thanks
