The learning eye on the Pronto 890 is on the rear of the remote. You need to point the original remote at the tail of the Pronto.
The only other possibility I can think of is if the Humax receiver is controlled by RF (as opposed to IR). If this is the case, you're not going to get the Pronto to work.
