Hi i just bought a Panasonic DMC-FZ38 think its called the 35 in U.S.A.

Not really into photography and couldnt justify spending DSLR money but needed something better than my ancient Kodak digital camera.

I will be taking pictures and videos for my DJ website (which is getting enough hits without good pictures) with it but the thing i am so impressed with is the 720p video its awesome for the money i am blown away how good this camera is at video.

one thing i will say is i seem to have found a few people in the same boat as myself that AVCHD lite editing software and having a good enough computer to edit properly is a mine field subject with codecs and glitches etc in abundance. playback direct from the camera is gorgeous , stick it on my old pc and it glitches and lip sync is way out ..

anyone else got a bridge camera? or are you all the DSLR nerds who know everything about cameras ?
