I got some weird browser (firefox) infection yesterday. Did a free online scan and it found some trojans. Ran malwarebytes then spybot and today i noticed the problem again.

When i use google to search.. any link goes to a random website. So today i ran a different online virus scan and no problems reported.. i ran malwarebytes and spybot and spybot found some tracking cookies but nothing else. The problem is gone again but im tired of dealing with it so i guess i have to install antivirus software. Its been over 2 years that i haven't had any installed because it always slows my PC down.

I created a list of running processes to try and figure out which one is the infection so i could search for a removal tool or instructions but since the searches are all bogus i cant really do it. PITA.
