Well, this system is much more complex than any URC (or other remote) as it includes whole home integration.

For example, each light switch in my house has 4 variables itself (state (on/off), value (# from 0-100), value (# from 0-255), and also an alias name. Then, when I start adding variables for lighting zones and scenes I have a couple hundred variables just for lighting.

The areas which have the most variables are music jukebox and movie jukebox.

So I went in this weekend and tried to export my variable file to excel to get an accurate count but it did not work correctly.

But, at the end of the day, I must be pretty close to 1000 :-)
