I hope too, but I think it will not happen. philips is not interested anymore to spent some work to the iPronto, they only want to sell their new expensive devices, otherwise i could not explain, that there is no reaction from the support, altough i wrote them several times.
I tried yesterday another solution for the EPG problem, because I saw, that rebooting the iPronto does not work always ( Until now no idea why). I changed the iPronto system date yesterday , after the failed EPG update to april 20, 2010. Till now the pronto doesn't try to make an EPG update. The next scheduled epg update is may 21, 2010
I keep you informed, if this solution will work for a longer time.
