I have the Universal Remote MX-810, and love it. However, the pin where the AC adaptor plugs into to charge the battery is broken so I can no longer use the AC adaptor. Is there a way to charge the battery, other than through the AC adaptor? Maybe some kind of universal battery charger, like they make for camera batteries? Any other suggestions? I'd hate to have to go out an buy a new $400 remote control just because I can't charge the battery on this one. Help!

The battery is a Fuji NP-60 and is a very common camera battery. Just buy a spare battery and a charger (should cost less than $20 total) and swap them out as needed.
