Can't afford what i'd like to have at home so i don't bother. I spend most of my free time on my harley. If i need to strap something to the bike though, i use monster cable.

Simon.

Wow, so all of you live in big houses! I'm a
renter for life, it would seem, so my hi-fi is
a single room system composed of the following:

who said anything about owning? manhattan rent baby! I just spent the last 3 months in hawaii and gave up my room. it was cheaper. my whole system is packed in SKB road cases... mobile theater. now i've gotta figure out what to do with it. right now the old roomates are making use of it, which is fine, and i can't bring it into the GF's place, too small, have more trips coming up, so can't committ to a new place yet...

Mind if I ask who?

I should be ashamed, but I'm really not, my theater is in my bedroom, and never gets watched.
AVR1803
Energy Take 5
Panasonic DVD player
Marantz 5000 remote.
When a customer asks what my theater is, i usually fill their toilet and point at it. Just kidding. But not really.

2 channel is what I really like, so I'm always piecing together a system. Speakers from Energy or Canton currently, trying to trade for a set of RSB's amps from Meridian or Adcom. I'm trying to do it old school again, and go back to a basic tube set-up, build my own most likely. The thing is, is that like my lawn, it will never get done.

Gunga.....Gunga....GU-Lunga

And since Ernie won't keep count, I will. Hes up to 249, and counting.

my problem is my home system is never finished....I keep changing things out, borrowing a cable here and there, using a component as a loan to a customer who has a warranty or backorder issue. Also, we occasionally have some of our bigger customers to my home for dinner and a movie so they see exactly what we can do. Thus my home system always has to be up to date which requires just about a weekly upgrade.

Very frustrating, so I usually laugh when people ask me that question.

I'm Not an engineer, but I play one on TV.
My handle is Tweety but I have nothing to do with the organization of similar name. I just had a really big head as a child so folks called me tweety bird.
