Hello, I have a couple of questions on configuring the 550. First, is it possible to program it to set a specific value for device functions. For example, let's say I want it to set the volume on my A/V receiver to 10 when watching the television, but I want it set to 30 when I'm listening to music. I know you can program the 550 to act on the Volume up and down functions, but can you have it set a specific volume? This may depend on the device, and in this case I am working with a Jamo DMR-60 A/V Receiver. Another function on which I would like to set a specific value is the surround sound setting. In this case I would want it set to Pro-Logic for the television and Stereo for playing music. Another question I have is whether or not it is possible to have one device remain on all the time. Again, this deals with the DMR-60 as it takes a while to boot up and I wouldn't mind having it on all the time to avoid the boot up delay. Everytime I hit the power button, all of the devices are powered down. Is there anyway to override this? The devices I am using the 550 to control are the following: TV: Pioneer PDP-5070HD DVR: Dish Network ViP622 A/V Receiver: Jamo DMR-60 Audio Receiver: Kenwood KR-V5550 (for music only) Network Media Player: Roku Soundbridge M-1000 Thanks in advance for the help.

Functions like Volume Preset, Surround Mode Preset, etc. must be provided by the device. The remote does not create function. It simply sends IR commands. However, you can have the remote send a sequence of commands at activity Start and/or at Activity Stop. The feature is under "Activity > Settings > Review the settings for this Activity", then select "Yes, but I want to add more control of options and devices for this Activity" and keep pressing Save/Next until you get to the Start Action & Leave Action setup page. Under the Device Adjust power settings, you have 3 options: 1) I want to leave this device on all the time With this option, the activities (including the special "Off" activity button) will no longer control the power of that device. However, the activity "Help" feature will still track what the power state of that device should be. This is the option I would chose for your slow DMR-60. In case you need to go away for a long period, you can still turn it off or on via the "Help" button without having to go into device mode. 2) I want to turn off this device when it's not in use This is the standard option where the activities control the power of that device. 3) There are no power buttons... With this option, you will have to control the power manually or via the device mode.
