Morning All!

New to the forums and looking for a little.. ok, maybe a bit more than that, of advice.

My house in the Uk is stripped bare to the walls. It's time to think about multiroom audio/video. I've assembled a shopping list below.

I'm looking for a DVD player(s) and DAB radios to serve the rooms. I already have a fixed Da-Lite screen and H79 Projector for the lounge/cinema.

I would appreciate any comments/changes that you can give.

It's 3am, so forgive my slurring! ;-)

Best wishes, David.

System looks good to me. Personally I like the Sonance stuff, and our rep is excellent so we strongly support the lineup. I've never used the Video Matrix, and have heard of some programming issues, but I think it is dependent on the programmer more than the hardware.

Just one question: What is a Sonance Navigator LCD Remote Control?

Sounds cool, but not something I've seen, read about, not in my price list, and not on the website... any info?

...couple a thumb tacks and a stick of double sided tape should hold this baby up...

You certainly like Sonance David! Good choice on the Marantz amp. I'd stick with Marantz DVD players also, esp the DV7600 with HDMI upscaling.

Where are you located? I could help you further along if you are not that far away.

Sticking to what I'm good at.

Hey,

Nottingham, UK.

I'm torn towards an Elan S12.... The interweb is frustratingly eye opening sometimes.

The DV7600 is a serious contender. I went for the 8500 as it has so many kool features. A linkplayer2 is serving my needs for the immediate future. I wish Marantz would hurry up and do something with the SigmaDesigns EM8620 chip!

Went to see Domino at the cinema tonight. Knightly was so badly cast! I swear i was gonna scream if she said "bounteeeee hunter" or "i'm domino harveeeee"... and she did, about 30 seconds into the credits. lol.

David out.

Too bad David, as I'm in Devon.

Knightly is supremely beautiful, though......

Also take a look at Living Control.

Sticking to what I'm good at.
