For: Philips Pronto NG By: Randy Mangoba | Randy Mangoba's Task-Based Setup This Pronto remote control configuration has a task-based user interface that maximizes ease of use for both casual and advanced users, while providing full access to all the home theater devices' remote commands for complete end-user control. In addition to useful automated wizards and macros that turn on all the necessary devices and set their inputs and outputs correctly based on what the user wishes to do, this remote has a number of useful features, including: a tab-based user interface for directly accessing the proper page of a remote device, user-friendly screens with progress bars for long running macros, an "activity" bar at the top of each page containing commonly used commands, extensive help text, a special page for allowing the Pronto's screen to be cleaned, and many more user-friendly features. |

For: Philips Pronto NG By: Gerald Maxwell | Gerald Maxwell's Layout A neat GUI that I snagged from GUIStuff.com, so I can't take credit for any of the graphic work other than remote buttons. The rest is a complete file, including macros already set up - simply drop in your IR commands and you "should" be ready to go! Drop a line on the email to let me know what you think... Thanks! |

For: Philips Pronto NG By: Ralph McCarron | Wolf Video's ProntoNG v3.0 I used some of Russ's Work plus Tom Uryga's bitmap files. I then started incorporating my own files and used clipart I had. I then also shot digital pictures of my ceiling fans, outdoor bar etc. I found that most PCF files had way too many buttons and were way to cluttered, which I thought made the interface too confusing to use. The coolest thing is to be able to control my electronic vertical blinds, turn on my icicle patio lights, outdoor stainless steel bar blue fluorescent lights, kick on my projector and 92-inch screen and watch movies sitting at my bar outside watching thru my living room window. The home theatre would be nothing without the Pronto! Thanks to everyone in the forum for their help. |
