VIA! touch panel control
The Elan VIA! Was honoured at CES 2001 with an Innovations award, which recognizes the best designed and engineered products in consumer electronics. The VIA! is a 6.4" full-color LCD touch panel that can be used to control home theater components, whole-home systems such as lighting, temperature and security, as well as display high-quality video sources such as cable and satellite TV, DVD and closed-circuit TV cameras. Panels can be flush-mounted in a wall, or installed on wooden tabletop 'valets'.

The VIA! is available in seven finishes including white, ivory, almond, black, brown, brass and chrome. It includes a composite video input and loop out, selectable graphic motifs, steel enclosure, memory protection and is compatible with virtually any system that utilizes IR or RS232 for control.

The specialized VIA! Music system enables any VIA! touchpad to control an entire music collection with CD cover artwork, song lists and more. Songs can be sorted by style, artist, favorites or alphabetically - it can handle up to 1800 discs and includes a wireless keyboard and remote control.
