New Surf Series Remote Controls
Jensen is introducing several new low-cost remote controls. Their new Surf Series comes in five models: the six-device SC-360, the four-device SC-340, three-device SC-330, two-device SC-320 and SC-310 which can control only a television set. Both the six and four-device models will control DVD players, while the six device version is also designed for audio components. All five versions include a new single-touch Surf key that automatically previews television channels in sequence. Timing may be customized from 1.5 to 4 seconds between channels. Auto Code Scan permits programming the remote without entering code numbers, while Memory-Lock will retain settings for 25 minutes when batteries are removed. All five include a sleep timer that can automatically shut down components up to 99 minutes after the remotes are set to do so. Also featured from the two-device version and up is a one-touch multi-function operation that can carry out a sequence of functions in order. The SC-310 is available for $8.99, the SC-320 for $9.99, the SC-330 for $10.99 and SC-340 for $11.99. Pricing on the SC-360 has not yet been set.
