New addition to the Isys touchpanel family
Crestron was demonstrating their new 5" TPS-2000L and 6" TPS-3000L compact wall-mounted video touchpanels. Both offering high-resolution screens, these displays can present full color graphics and motion video with a 180 degree viewing angle. A light sensor is included to automatically brighten or dim the screen. A new feature is Crestron's "Virtual Pan and Zoom", where just a touch of the screen can allow panning and zooming in for the best view - even with stationary security cameras. Audio capabilities include storage of WAV files for playback, plus a microphone, amplifier and speaker with automatic gain and equalizer adjustments for intercom usage. The Isys panels are capable of operating any number of devices, such as home theaters, security systems and HVAC systems, and can link to multiple control systems, even via the Internet. Pricing and availability was not announced.
